There are many products that claim to cleanse your colon and remove pounds of accumulated you know what. These products are promoted through spam emails as weight loss products and mostly contain herbs and act as mild laxatives, but are there any true products that could help to cleanse your body and available without a prescription?

I have never been impressed by all this clean colon crap, but a friend of mine mentioned she did it and she lost about 5 pounds. I am now interested in knowing if anyone has any reviews or suggestions on any colon cleanse systems. Anyone tried one and had good results?

I heard that the average person has anywhere from 5 to 15 pounds of fecal matter build up inside their colon! (YUCK) and that a colon cleansing can get rid of that. Is that true or just junk science?
Also, if a colon cleansing is worth the money, do you have to go to a doctor to get one done or can you buy something at a drug store or health food store and do it yourself?
Thanks for any help and / or advice.

Hi, I’m a 16 year old boy. I’m 5′8 and weigh 165.3 pounds(us). I am really trying to lose weight and I’m walking 25k a week. I have stopped eating white carbohydrates and I’m eating less. But I still think I look huge! My parents say I look fine and I shouldn’t worry about it, but I do! I’m going to Egypt in four months and really would like to lose 20 or so pounds and see the difference. Any suggestions how.
And please; no advertising "colon cleanse diet supplement" or "weight loss for dummies" etc.
Thank you!

I have Crohn’s Disease and I’m afraid taking Colonex 700 would hurt my Crohn’s. Crohn’s is more of a reaction of the body to all the nasty bacteria we put in it than a disease but that’s what it’s called is a disease. Colonex 700 cleanses the colon of all that bacteria but my family won’t let me take it unless they know 100% that it will not harm me, and I’m only 17 so I have to do what my family says. Someone, help me!

If I only eat melon, and drink 8 8oz glasses of water per day, excercise for 1 1/2 hours total, take acai berry pills, green tea pills, and Super Colon Cleanse pills….what will happen in a month? How much weight will I lose? Please don’t tell me how "unhealthy" this is, and I DON’T WANT ANY OTHER IDEAS on how to lose weight…thank you
I SAID IF YOU ARE GOING TO SAY IT’S UNHEALTHY DO NOT POST ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ulrina–THEN JUST DON’T POST ANYTHING! Did you not understand that? You aren’t meant to say ANYTHING if you disagree!

I have been on the master cleanse for 4 days and was aiming for 5 plus 3 days of easing out. You are supposed to do it for 10 but that’s not possible for me right now so I settled with 5. Last night I burned my finger and got a 2nd degree burn covering my entire finger that was very painful. In a panic to just take a pain reliever I ate piece of whole wheat toast and a couple saltine crackers so that I could take pain killers without getting sick.
I feel like I messed with my digestive system, and now am I supposed to just drink orange juice all day? I feel like I need something more……any advice??

Detox diets are not recommended by most mainstream doctors who consider them unnecessary and potentially dangerous. Why is this?
I want to do the master cleanse, do clear out my colon, loose a little fat off my legs.
I am female, 6′1, 147 pounds. size 2-4 american. And I am 15 years old. Do you think its safe? How long should I do the cleanse for? What other cleanses are effective?
thanks

There are a lot of internal cleansing products on the market. How do i know which ones are good and which ones are just "get skinny quick" pills that do nothing to cleanse you….Im not trying to do an internal cleanse to loose weight i don’t want to loose weight, i just feel bloated all the time and i think a good internal cleansing product will help…

I was wondering if there is a non-invasive (no water up the bum!) colon cleanse that doesn’t require one to starve themselves? I’m not trying to lose weight; I just want to cleanse it out, as I’m feeling a bit sick and irregular, and my ‘movements’ aren’t regular, if you catch my meaning.
Thanks!

I’m a 30 year old female who has suffered from acne since I was 12. The acne the past 2 years has been entirely DIFFERENT, though. It is along my jawline and on my chin. Most definitely hormonal. Very emotionally draining. I would like suggestions to help the root of this problem (which is my hormonal imbalance). Please don’t say wash your face, change your diet, or stop touching your face. Those things are not causing my acne. It is the hormonal imbalance. I have done a colon cleanse, kidney/urinary cleanse, parasite cleanse, and two liver flushes. I am currently on no medications, but take a myriad of vitamins and herbs every day. I will not take any prescription medications including gels/creams, or birth control pills. Thank you.
MollyMac, I may have acne but I guarantee my body and internal organs are much healthier than yours. I will also live longer and less prone to disease. I would respectfully ask you not to believe everything the media, government, and doctors tell you is true. . .

Hi I started to exercise January of Last year and I ate chicken, whey protein and oat meal everyday for four months. I began to notice my friends and classmates saying that I smell bad around the month of April. I did everything possible to have a good (God like) hygiene, and stopped eating protein all together. No garlic, curry ,onions, or dairy products anymore. But even today I have a funky smell to me (like sweat even about an hour after taking a shower). I have tried various deodrants, soaps, and body sprays, even went to two doctors (endocronologists) who were of no help.
MY QUESTIONS:
1)So can eating excess protein (Everyday) might have cause
some disease inside me?
2)Can colon cleanse help my body odor?(safefy)
3)Can eating vitamin B, magnesium tablets, chorolophyll
tablets, and zinc tablets help?

Tomorrow I’m going to start the Acai Berry Diet and Colon Cleanse. What types of foods should I be eating during the diet. I eat relatively healthy but are there any food I should avoid or take more of? Also the colon cleanse is a 7-day program. Should I continue the Acai Berry after the cleanse is done. And what recommended dose for Acai Berry 1000 mg capsules. The recommended dose is 2 a day with a meal would it be bad if i took 4 a day, 2 with 2 separate meals?

I’m looking for an all natural colon cleanse program by only eating certain foods. No drugs. No herb supplements. I feel there must be a way to do this as nature intended. I do not trust herbal products as they are processed by man.. the only ones I trust are the ones I can pick myself. And there are some parts of the world where herbs are not grown.. these peoples must have had a way to clean their colon without herbs. I did hear one person say don’t eat meat when your trying to clean your colon. I don’t buy that at all. If you feel this way, give me some really good reasons why I must not eat meat. Do not answer this question if you are anti meat, that answer will be a bias answer and not right..
Also, How will I know when my colon is completely clean? How long can I expect this program to work?
Well I eat like that anyway folks.. those are just general answers to keep you regular. They are not colon cleanse programs.. these things will not go above and beyond the scraping out of your colon like a store bought product will.. that’s what im looking for.. detail a plan that uses certain foods to clean your colon in the way that the OTC products do. You need to tell me foods that act on the body the way that the colon products do.. not just healthy eating. There is a Big difference.

Does the Acai Berry and the Colon Cleanse work? Is it healthy for everyone? And is it expensive? I herd it works on a lot of people, but I thought I’d see what everyones opinions is about it. I want to start losing weight for prom haha.
