can i get a colon cleanse or an enama?
i’ve been having constipation problems for quite some time and i have been looking into colon cleansing- i do have to take dulcolax ( they say to take it everyday but i prefer not to) i was thinking about going to the doctors and getting a colon cleanse or an enama but would i be eligable for them. I mean i have no pain just constipation- plus i think due to the blockage i’m breaking out on my face.
if i call the doc’s would they say no or this process is by choice, and how much do you think this would cost?
if i wanted to get the enama would i be able to get that done and how much
and how many hours or days does this take to heal- i can’t be going into work and running to the rest room!!

Yes you can get a colon cleansing…however! You can try laxitives like Dulcolax or just eat more bulk/high fiber foods, lke brain, fresh veggies, fruits and grain products. You can also go to any drug store and but a Fleets Phosphosoda. This works very quickly. Continuing to use laxitives tend to discolor your bowel and may hide any problems in the future. We see this daily in out Endoscopic lab, duing colonoscopies, but usually with older clients. Try more fluids, fiber then enemas. Good luck…:O)
the chemist u can buy disposable enemas easy as and u do it at home hold it in for 5-10 mins if u can and then go 2 the toilet and u should b fine
I am currently doing a colon cleanse and I have to take pills daily but its worth it. I’ve lost weight and my face is clearing up. I think its cheaper to buy pills.
Take a laxatives once a week
