Has anyone had a colonic? What is it? What are the benefits? What does it look like? Is it painful?
I have been told it uses alot of water, it removes very old years old impacted waste with worms and you will feel like a new person.

Over my life i have consistantly used short fasting to stop the onset of colds and flus. I now rarely get sick and when i do start to feel the onset i fast for one or two days and my sickness cures itself. I know the benefits of fasting. However, i now plan to do a longer strick 10-14 day water fast and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on using a sea salt oral flush versus an enema. During my short fasts i have no need to cleanse the colon. But for this longer fast i may need to help break up debris in the colon and again was wondering which method would work best and be the most beneficial?

ok, has anyone out there had any experience with colon cleansing or the products that claim to do wonders? I have a group of friends that are using some form of tea that is supposed to do the job. And when I check for products on-line, there are many out there. Some even claiming to expel what looks like monsters from your body. It sounds almost too good to be true (all the benefits). So, if anyone has any stories to share about products and results, that would be great.

I'm a 17 year old male with mild acne and some red marks. In high school my condition made it very difficult to meet girls due to my self confidence and my appearence. I would really like to make a change in this so I can pick up the pace and have women be more receptive to me and finally lose my virginity. This might seem a little selfish, but I'm being perfectly honest with my desires. I have tried literally everything for my condition (antibiotics, topicals, vitamins/supplements, liver flush, colon cleansing, you name it)_and it seems that accutane is my last resort. I am considering this mainly for the reason that it's very awkward to explain why I haven't had a girlfriend yet and I'd really like to function like a normal person in society for once in my life. Can anyone offer me any advice?

I hear good and bad about this method of "cleansing your colon" I'm not even sure if I want to do it. The only reason I wanted to do it is because my dad died of colon cancer and my dr said in the next seven years she wants me to get a colonastropy( or whatever it's called) done..so I thought maybe this would be good for me..even though I would have a complete stranger sticking something up my butt… I just wanted to know if anyone has ever gotten it done or if it is just a waste of time..thanks!

I've heard some people say that after you get your colon cleansed your eyes will change colors.
Have you personally witnessed or even just heard of this?
What are the benefits of colon cleansing?

Going to order a colon cleanse. First of all let me say , that I cannot belive it is hoax, considering what we eat these days, preservatives & the chemicals, not to mentin the abuse the animals endure that we eat. Im no animals rights activist, people first I say. And have bought meat from local organic farms, but its not affordbale for us.
I was raised on pizza and fast food. I have always suffered from constipation (even as a child) and recently hemoroids.
However, I take barley green, amino acids and various vitamins dailey. Seems like I intake more of that crap than food on a daily basis. Also, I only drink distilled water, no other fluids. Im 30 yrs old.
If you want to persuade me that a colon cleanse is not necessary, forget it.
I want to know…what brand have you tried that works, what were you direct benefits and were you able to go to work during cleansing.
I want that giant 3 ft. waste, know what I mean!

I want to do a safe colon cleanse/full body detox but I'm not sure what to buy for it.
If you can recommend one that works I'd love to try!
Can they help PMS and/or insomnia? I'm confused by all the conflicting info…

Is it healthy? Unhealthy? etc…
My hypothesis, for example, would be that spicy food is healthy, since the spiciness could help cleanse the colon.

Could I continue to take my colon cleansing pill or would this hinder the antibiotics benefit?

I've been hearing on the radio ads touting the health benefits of colon cleansing dietary supplements, which make claims that you can "internally scrape the walls of your colon by taking this pill," ridding yourself of 5-15 pounds of built-up waste material. Get a flatter tummy!
Yadda yadda yadda.
Has anyone ever investigated these claims and found them to be true, or is it all a bunch of nonsense designed to cleanse your bank account of extra money?
Mind you, I'm not trying to lose weight. I was just curious about these claims, because they sound so implausible.

Castor oil has been an "old folks" remedy for ions, whether digesting to cleanse colon, or applying on the skin to draw out impurities. What say you homeopaths, alternative medicine gurus, or experienced? Does castor oil have healing properties? Thanks much for the feedback!

Saw an advertisement for this and wondered if it really works, was it uncomfortable, did a lot of strange stuff come out, was it worth it, any weight loss, the benefits after doing it, etc.?

Please no jokes here… But I was wondering what kind of colon cleanse you had, or you just did the lemonade diet (which I am doing, I'm at the end of my 4th day). I cannot begin to tell you how better I'm feeling after these 4 days. Unbelievable the amount of stuff that comes out, the smell!! Years and years of junk! Please like I said be serious here. Really, if you can't be mature to discuss this question, than please do not even answer. I'm looking for people who have gone through this and the benefits they've had. Thanks!
no they're not! I am actually saving a lot of money… I only use lemons, mapple syrup and cayenne pepper and I take a herbal laxative tea! I asked for people who have gone through a colon cleanse!

Is there any evidence that they really do rid the body of harmful toxins? What exactly do they do and what are its effects?
Because they seem a little scary, but if the benefits outweigh the process they might be worth a try.

WITHOUT expensive supplements or special diets? I've heard of the benefits of an internal cleanse, such as having twice the energy, a flatter stomach, and a smaller waist. Also, is colon cleansing a scam?

If colon cleansing is fake and it is said in some websites
to hurt you more than benefit you then why are there people
who are getting positive results such as loosing constipation and loosing other medical problems from it?
I REALLY Want to Know!
Please help.
Thank you

I'm thinking of doing a colon cleanse and was wondering if anyone has ever done this before. What products did you use? How did you go about doing it? What were you benefits? I'm not doing it to lose weight just because I heard it is good for your health. Is this true? Any suggestions/advice will be appreciated. Thanks

I'm thinking of having a colon cleansing. I often feel bloated, and I'm having a hard time losing my last 10 lbs, even though I work out 4 to 5 days a week and eat sensibly. Has anyone ever tried it? If so, did you benefit from it? I know that it's not a substitute for weight loss; however, I'm thinking that maybe it'll give me a boost.

Does anyone believe that all the pictures of build up that is released could be real? I wonder if this is just quackery?
Sounds uncomfortable also. Will there be any real benefits?

Can anyone tell me – seriously – the benefits of a colon cleanse? Is it something you recommend? I have been reading just a bit about how so many things are effected by the colon and how you can feel so run down, bloated, be unsuccessful with losing weight, suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, have digestive problems, etc. all from neglecting your colon. I am just not sure if this has any truth behind it or not. Is a colon cleanse worth having? Is it an expensive process? How do you go about looking into something like this? I realize this topic is a bit off the wall, but any serious help or information would be most beneficial.
Thank you ever so much.

My uncle has lost one kidney and is likely to lose the other in the next couple of months. I have been reading about the benefits but have not read of any dangers relating to any situation such as this. Please only experienced individuals answer. This is someones life that is dear to me.
