I've been suffering from constipation for years, I've tried every fiber supplement on the market and even several prescription ones and nothing seems to work for me. I was on Zelnorm and it seemed to work ok but it was recalled. Now I am on Miralax twice a day and it works a little but I'm usually always miserable with cramping, bloating and gas. Not long after I eat I'm not feeling well. I was doing some research on line about the colon cleanse but I wanted some advice from someone who has actually tried one. The product I'm going to try is Bowtrol.

Okay i seen the commercial with the dark skinned guy…i am not sure which one he was pushing but i am curious…I think he was stating people over 20 should try this…hmmm Which is the best brand? I read online about this Bowtrol…I mean do doctors really recommend cleansing the colon? And for how long do you use this before you stop? I mean you have to stop sometime right, what when gross things stop coming out? I read about parasites in your body..do they come out in the toilet too? Can you see them? hehe i know gross… hmmmm i am just getting ideas here..thanks in advance…

I have been debating using a colon cleansing product for a few months now. I have never done it before and I feel physically that my body is backed up with years of food, toxins, waste.. you name it. I've heard of several brands but while searching around online I've found alot of debating about which ones work, which ones are fraud and which ones are not very healthy in the first place. The two I have been looking at the most are Bowtrol and Colonix.
Which one is better or is there a better one? If you've had personal experience with either I would appreciate your input. If you have experience with something different has worked perfectly for you I'd like to know.

I am especialy concerned about how safe or healthy these products are, and what symptoms users suffer. I would seriously like to avoid any that cause severe crampnig, nausea, or headaches.

This is sort of an embarassing question, but has anyone had a colon cleanse or taken any pills such as Bowtrol? Did it do you good? Did you have bad side effects? Thanks.

i was going to turn to diet pills to lose weight, but since they "don't work" and i think my colon is more important than my weight right now. plus, supposedly the colon cleanse helps you lose weight.

so i needed to know if any of these work:
-dr.Floras colon cleanse pro
-bowtrol
-dual action cleanse
-colonix
-regulux

or if you know any other way to help lose weight besides exercise, all suggestions welcome. i just dont have the energy for it.

I am trying a natural alternative to help heal my psoriasis. The book (by John O.A. Pagano) recommends using high colonics or home enemas during the first couple months of dieting to help cleanse the colon. Since this book was originally published in 1991, I'm not sure how far along products such as Colonix or Bowtrol were (or if they even existed at all) and Dr. Pagano does not mention them in the book. From what I've read on the Internet, however, it appears to me these products have the same effect as a high colonic, and may even be safer and more effective.

I did some research and found that Bowtrol seemed like the best colon cleanse for what I was looking for. It didn't come with any instructions other than "take 3-8 per day at bedtime starting with three and work your way up. For most 4-5 is a good maximum."……..
So, I started, not really changing my diet too much. I realize that it works best if you eat only fruit and veggies, but do you have to so that it will work? How long should I do it? Also, I have been feeling really tired since I started, is this normal?

Is there anyone out there that uses Bowtrol and found it to really work like Lohan.com says. What is Dr. Perricone saying abouth this colon cleanse? Any answers on this?

I was told that Dr. Natura was good, and after seeing the pictures on the website, I believe it. But I just read that Bowtrol is better… And last year "master cleanse" was the best.. somebody help me so I dont go wasting my money!! Thanks!
