Is it possible to do this if most of what you’re losing is water weight? I’ve heard of people on The Biggest Loser who’ve lost 35 pounds in a week because it was mostly excess water and simply not eating all the crap they were eating before. 35 pounds a week times 2 equals 70. I am 5’4, I am 184.4 pounds [Lost 2 pounds since yesterday], and my goal is to be 117 pounds.
I Binge on TONS of fast food about 3 times a week, then go back to eating normally, but the weight I gained from those pigouts never goes away. I think I could work it ALL off if I tried.
The reason I want to do it in 2 weeks is because every 2 weeks since last month I’ve started binging AND I was already overweight to top it off. I think I can do this because people who are extremely overweight have it easy with the first part of thier weight loss goals. Top it off with working hard and I know I could do it. [I lost 2 pounds since yesterday which normally never ever happens- and all I did was eat IN-n-Out Burger and pizza and soda and all that kind of shit!]
I’ll also be doing a colon cleanse at this time, and using those accupuncture weight loss earrings [My sis did it and lost 26 pounds in a month not even trying!] Since i am being forced to go to the gym and have nothing else all day to do anyway at this time, I think I can do it.
What do you think?
Ridiculous? Crazy? Possible? Ambitious?
God Bless
Angel
I was looking to clean out my colon because I am 22 and never had it cleansed and would really think it would help in my weight loss and make me feel tons better. Anyone ever try it?
Let me know 10 points to the best answer
she is on a 1500-1700 calorie diet, low carb low sodium etc. works out on a daily basis, nothing under an hr/day. she still feels tired, her face is having a lot of break outs, she has carpal tunnel, irregular menstrual cycle, seems depressed, no family history, she just had a physical and everything come back normal, (blood sugar, cholesterol etc), is this something she should have looked at or is this normal, she is 28, and 300lbs with no success in weight loss, and also has anyone tried colon cleanse? do they work, any advice please before going to the dr for nothing. thanks
f**k u ok. im tryin to be seruious and ur some wise a** with no life, she was slim untill she had 3 kids, from then on she has strugled with weight, she is a wonderful lady, she eats very healthy and works out, wich is probably more then i can think you do. looser
no, we cook togeather, she eats very good, the dr is the one who put her on the 1500 cals. she has been at this for 3 mths, and has not had any succsess
I’m a 53 year old woman. In the past 4 years I have gained 80 lbs and was NOT overweight 5 years ago. I have been to many specialists for my back, been thru PT, gone on many types of diets, acai, colon cleanses etc. you name it, I’ve tried it. My problem is not diet, it’s mobility or lack of it. I can only walk a around half a city block, I even bought a pool last year. I’ve followed my doctors advice, still nothing, what can i do short of fasting for several days at a time, but that would require quitting my meds which keep me somewhat comfortable?
like if i took a non scam acai supplement, and a different colon cleanser actually prompt weight loss?
As much as I would love to be able to exercise it is difficult for me. I am a caregiver for my husbands grandmother and it is a 24/7 job. Difficult to get any me time for exercising. I also have a condition called Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) which has caused me to gain this excessive weight. Just wondering if a colon cleanse would help jump start some weight loss. Along with using a slim quick pill. How else can I lose weight. It is driving me crazy having all this excess weight when I’ve never been above 130 until 2007 when I developed PCOS.
PLEASE HELP!
Also no rude comments like get off your lazy butt. I work very very hard, and in no way am I lazy.
I’m 5’2 and 139 – 140 pounds. Ideally, I’d like to lose 25 – 30 pounds of that and be 110 – 115 pounds (my healthy weight range is technically 104 – 131, but I want to be skinny without being unrealistic). I’m not like FAT fat, but definitely chunky. I figure skate at FS5 level 6 days a week for a total of about 8 hours a week, plus run 40 minutes a week at school, as well as do other sports in gym the other three weekdays available (it really varies…badminton, volleyball, basketball, soccer, floor hockey, just whatever the unit is). I honestly think I’m pretty fit. I’d love to be able to go to the gym or something, but can’t afford to. So I do a lot of exercise…maybe it’s my diet that’s killing me? I don’t pig out on junk food like the other kids (I USED to be able to go through bags of junk food and stay skinny, if I wanted, when I was younger, but alas, no longer…) but I definitely don’t think I eat quite healthily enough. I looked into the book "The Mayo Clinic Diet" and really want to follow there advice, but after eating only/mainly fruit and stuff like that for a few days in a row, I end up eating chocolate or something, even if I let myself have really small amounts every day throughout to try and prevent that. Is it just a diet/self discipline thing? I’d really like to be at least 120 – 125 by July, but even if it was slower than that at least I’d lose it and hopefully keep it off. I’m not so worried about getting a "bikini body" (though that’d be very nice, haha) as I am a more permanent, long-term solution. I’m already working out a ton more than most other kids my age (14). What’s wrong? What do you suggest doing? (NO, I’m NOT going to buy your acai berry or colon cleanse or diet pills…in your dreams. Sorry to any of you out there who AREN’T trying to sell me on those, just thought I’d put it out there.)
did any one use the colon cleanse also
I saw in a few places that there was this "trend" I guess that people were using to lose weight, by taking an Acai berry supplement along with a Colon Cleanser thing to help flush the crap out of your body. I’m always as skeptical as you could be about "too good to be true" deals, but I saw a few stories that really made it sound credible. The link they had for the Colon Cleanse product still worked, but their link for the Acai stuff took me to a weird place that didn’t seem like the most credible place to buy it.
I was wondering if anyone here has ever used one or both of those, how good/bad did it work, and if it worked where did you get it?
BTW here are the links:
http://www.acaiberrypure.org/
http://advancedcoloncleanse.com/sp/colon/D002/
Ok, to everyone who apparently thinks this, no I don’t mean using the supplement(s) and nothing else, I’m already eating better and starting to work out. I mean in addition to that stuff
I’m always as skeptical as you can be about "too good to be true" claims like this, but I saw this story about how someone used both a Maqui berry supplement and a Colon Cleanse product together to lose a good amount of weight.
Has anyone had a similar weight loss success, or are they a scam?
BTW, no I don’t mean using the supplement(s) and nothing else, I’m already eating better and starting to work out. I mean in addition to that stuff.
**please answer if you have used these or are using these**
i have a big trip next month and i want to loose weight fast. (i honestly dont even care if its short term weight loss.) i was considering getting the acai berry and colon cleanse since its recently become very popular. does it work? and if it worked, approximately how much did you loose each week?
something that works quickly and most importantly MAKES ME LOSE WEIGHT!!!?
i’ve heard the colon cleanins helps to loose weight and i would like to kno how true it is, if theres any one who has tried it can you tell me how much weight you lost?how long did it take untill you saw results? also what colon cleanser did you use? i perfer something over the counter and not online …something safe and effective , thanx -)….because im trying very hard to loose weight and im thinking about trying it but want informatio o it from someone who has tried it =)
I realize that the majority of the weight loss people experience during a cleanse or detox comes from the dietary regimen that they follow during it. However, does the cleansing of the colon by itself or whatever is found in most cleanses do anything for weight loss.
ive done lots of looking around on the internet. i read a lot of stories, and looked at results. i’m pretty sure i know that the weight loss is due to severe caloric restriction. Still, i’d like to try it just to get some pounds off and jumpstart healthier eating. I gained 20lbs over the past year due to hormones from BC. i’ve gotten rid of the hormones, and i’m excited to try to get my weight back down to where it used to be, and to start to feel healthier.
Ideas for helping my Master Cleanse:
I think i would try taking Hoodia pills to cut the hunger
I wonder if i can try using some chicken or vegetable flavoring (bouillon) to add to the Salt water wash–i think it would make it more palatable.
I want to add flaxseed to the lemonade to add some fiber, which also acts as a laxative and i think it would help clean out my colon
i think i’m only willing to try this for 7 days, instead of the 10 that most people do.
also, one more question: if i have to work in the morning, how can i get around the effects of the saltwater/laxative? i can’t run to the bathroom every few minutes when i’m at work. this is possibly the only thing keeping me from wanting to attempt it.
and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD–please don’t spam me with diet pill sites. seriously. i’ll report you.
i walk everyday and i get exercise.
I’m answering my own question here, because I believe people should read the truth rather than possibly believing the spammers on this site.
Acai berri does NOT work as a weight loss program. I have been taking it for more than a month now, while taking part in the "eat less, move more" diet, and I haven’t lost a single pound. I started on Acai berri at 10st 8 lbs, and I am still 10st 8 lbs.
Now, I will admit my skin has never looked better and I do have more energy, but it is not good for weight loss. I look and feel younger, but I am not thinner.
Prior to taking Acai berri I was doing a weight watchers diet and lost approx 14lbs in one month, but since starting Acai berri, I have not lost weight.
So, if you want to lose weight, do NOT take Acai berri. But if you just want to look and feel a little younger, THEN and only then, could I recommend Acai Berri.
(PostNote: I have also done the Colon Cleanse program, which resulted in no weight loss, so please trust me).
Sorry if I wasted your time, but I felt this had to said. Thank you ![]()
Thanks, Daisy. I didn’t know you can actually report spam. I will do that from now on. (I’m new to yahoo answers).
If you don’t think that my posting this everyday would be seen as spam, then I will do that too. Please let me know if you have the time. ![]()
I am 18 female and i have recently been thinking of doing a colon cleanse, (not to lose weight) I have very bad eating habits and I am very unhealthy, although I am in a good weight range (145 lbs at 5′ 10) I would like to eat healthier. I researched a lot of cleansers but I am a student and do not have a lot of spare cash.
If you have done the master cleanse or know a lot about it I have a few questions:
1. Am i too young to do it? Like, at my age is it harmful?
2. what are the side effects and is it painful?
3. What helped get you through the 10 days
4. When you are done you are supposed to slowly go back to eating solids, and on day 11 they say to drink orange juice, I cant stomach orange juice, is there alternatives I could use to help get me back to a normal healthy diet
5. What is the worst side effect of it? Whats the worst that could happen if i try this cleanse?
Again, I want to use this as the first step to a healthier life style. Don’t think I am using it as a quick weight loss fix as I am happy with my weight. Thanks!
ps, after the cleanse I want to stay on a healthy "diet" as in not eat unhealthy stuff, anyone know a good book/website that gives good healthy meals a 18 year old can make? (im not the greatest cook
)
Okay, so you know how in the Diet&Fitness section we get all those spam answers about how to "lose weight"? Y’know, the ones that go "I lost weight doing such and such, click here to find out more!!" (by the way, acai berry does NOT burn fat, it’s just filled with antioxidants…at least, that’s what my research says…I’ve been drinking pomegranate/acai berry juice for years and have not lost a single calorie because of it..It just tastes good to me).
So anyway, I came across one that said, "I cleansed my colon and lost weight!!" (more or less.)
What I want to know is, HOW in the HELL is that related to weight loss? And anyway, isn’t it incredibly dangerous to get a colon cleansing? I heard that it results in all kinds of problems, including getting a bad case of the runs.
Lol ironic how I’m blasting the "colon spam" and yet I get one of those spam answers here. Anyway, yeah, I just never understood how POOPING had anything to do with losing body fat. Hell, if I could lose weight by taking a dump, I’d be a supermodel right now.
Just wondering, which product? did you lose weight? did you keep it off? side effects? would you suggest using it? Thanks for the help.
age? weight? weight loss from it? I would really love to know if it actually works.
I am starting a diet this week, and I am just wondering if it could be a good idea to start off with a good colon cleanse. I have never tried this before, but I’ve heard a lot about it lately…I had a very sudden weight gain…about 50 pounds in the past 4 years or so, and all I eat is fast food, and pop, and processed food…seriously!!! I’m changing!!
right i went to see my doctor about a year ago which told me i was a stone over weight he said its nothing majour but it would be nice to loose a little preferably a stone, i have tried everything the rosemary Conley diet with size portions ect, tried the fat diet ,tried exercising everyday you name it iv done and in the proses i only managed to loose 8 pounds ! so i went back to my doctor which said i wasnt doing enough exercise ! although i have i completely changed my life style with the outdoors, so he told me he couldnt rescribe me nothing cause i wasnt obese (which i totaly dissagree with) so i looked up on the internet acai berries and colon cleansing, the berries are all natural ingrediants and the colon cleansing takes all the bad toxic waste. now everywhere i look im being told its good for weight loss even the chemist people say as its just like the alli which cost about £40, now my question is to you does this work and have you had and succsesfull weight-loss with this or another ?
I am looking to shed around 40 pounds of fat, and I have heard so much about so many different supplements out there. I go to the gym 4 times a week, and eat healthy but I have been at the same weight and "size" for over 3 months. I was hoping someone who has used supplements, who actually got results, could give me some suggestions. I was looking at FORCE FACTOR, and ACAI Colon Cleanse…any input on these? Please help me find the best on the market. Thank you!
I have a history of yo-yo weight loss, last time I did really well, hit the gym and paid thousands to lose 40 pounds. I’ve gained about 15 pounds back and I’m feeling depressed. I’ve heard hydro colon therapy will cleanse excess sludge and prompt you to lose weight by improving your digestion. Does it work? Does it hurt? Is it expensive? What might be a good place to try it in Northern California?
Answers from someone who’s actually done it will help A LOT. 10 points for best answer…?
This question is about colonics, not other good ways to lose weight. I know how to lose weight I just want to know specifics on colonics.
I was thinking about using colon cleaning as a weight loss method…what do you think?
I am 5’4. 14. Male. I will be 15 in the summer.
I would like to lose fat, around my stomach, arms, legs, and face.
So I weigh around 55-56kgs.
I REALLY wanna lose weight by summer, but I would like to lose around 15-20 pounds in the next month, or 2.
Can you please tell me what foods to eat? I know it sounds stupid but it’s so much easier for me when someone gives me instructions, like what time, and what to eat. And what are the best exersises, please be specific, and when should I do these, how many should I do, how many times a day?
And do Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse pills work?
I know there are many different brands, so please include that name of the one you tried.
What did they really do for you?
Did you just go to the bathroom a lot? If so, was it so much that it was a problem in daily life?
Did you have stomach cramps?
Did it cause diarrhea or nausea?
Did you really pass anything weird like in some of the photos they have at the sites?
Did you feel better? If so, was it within a few days or immediately?
How long did you take it?
How did you feel when you stopped taking it?
Did you change your diet with it and if so, was it a diet plan?
Do you have any health problems like I.B.S. or spastic colon or chronic bloating or chronic constipation and how did it affect you?
Please include everything you can think of. I’m not really interested in these for weight loss, though that would be a benefit, but to see if any of them improve how I feel overall.
Thanks to everyone that replies with a good, honest, helpful answer.
Hi, I’ve made a new years resolution to lose weight and have heard that colon cleansers can help in losing weight. Does anybody know whether this is true, and if so, what is a good colon cleanser you can maybe recommend me to try? It seems there are so many different ones out there and I don’t want to waste my time and money with anything that doesn’t work.
