Be reasonable, your not just gonna drop 50 lbs. Set yourself a more attainable goal. Say, 5-10 lbs to start. Your very young, and your body is growing, so don’t expect to get to 77. Being fit and healthy is a lifetime commitment. Don’t worry about all those stupid numbers and charts that tell you where you should be. Eat right, sleep right, and really try to push yourself when you exercise and you will see results. Don’t listen to the numbers, just listen to your body.
your in need of great guidance assistance, talk to your parents and see what they say
Starve. Haha, no, I’m kidding.
If you wanna lose wait, naturally then it natural foods/eat healthy. Get rid of foods with sugar and salt. Do cardio every day. Run. Swim. Bike.
EDIT: What, you’re 11? Yeah, you’re too young.
You’re too young to be losing weight, grow up, then if you still feel fat, go to the gym.
First of all, the healthy BMI is between 77-108. Your target weight should not be the lowest extreme of this… If you want to be realistic, go for a weight of 108. Losing almost 50lbs is not really a realistic goal for someone your age, seriously… As for tips, you shouldn’t eat after 7pm, and eat plenty of fruits and veggies rather than fatty snack foods.
your 11? its so sad that kid so young are worrying about their weight.. i know its hard but dont worry about what other people think its just going to get you down and depressed but if you would really like to lose weight try dancing its a great way to lose weight and fun while doing it
excersize. Run around your block as much as you can (4 laps is probably a mile),and every day add a lap. Dont under eat, lest you want to screw up your metabolism. Eat healthy, not a lot, mostly green stuff and fruit. NO SWEETS. All it requires is will power.
poop
Hey I lost weight by eating smaller portions. It’s not as hard as you think. First just take out all snacks. Just taking that out can take out many calories from your daily diet. Also you dont have to really cut back on your meals. But listen to your body. Cut back on that third slice of pizza. I am only one year older than you turning 13 in july. But the same thing can work for you. I was never considered fat. It was something I did just to do to make myself feel better about myself. I lost 11 pounds doing this. I hope it works for you 2. My bmi is 18.6
I’m not trying to be mean but if you dropped to 77 pounds that would be nasty. But I could be wrong and its your body. It would also be really hard to loose it in that little of time. But it is possible. Exersize regularly and eat a healthy diet. Don’t starve yourself! That is never a good idea.
eat more fruits and vegetables and when you do eat eat slower, you will eat less this way and drink lots of water. the best way to lose weight is probably to run. it isn’t fun at all at first but once you get used to running you should feel good afterward. If you don’t lose weight in the beginning don’t get discouraged this is normal and it usually takes people a little bit to get in "weight loss mode" work hard and you will get down to where you want to. Also, chew gum it has very few calories and will help prevent you from snacking when you don’t need to. But, I must say that you want to lose a little too much weight for your age and too quickly, if you lose weight unhealthfully you will only be hurting yourself even more. Its more important to be healthy than really skinny(and yes there is a difference)
Their is allot of stuff out their that you can do. First off replace your time sitting in front to the tv or computer screen with some type of activity like walking. Work out at least 3 times a week and run on the other two. It is supposed hurt when you wake up in the morning. You should also eat things that are healthy and avoid sugars, and high fat but you already know that much. If you time your meals it will help to keep you from over eating in one sitting. Limit yourself to a 10 min time span than stop.
first of all 11 is waaaay too young to worry about that because you’re still growing and actually 18.4 bmi is underweight but that’s besides the point. to lose weight healthily you should cut-out junk foods, fast-food, soda(even diet because it’s actually not that healthy for you) and work-out every other day. 4 months is plenty of time to lose 48 lbs if you have good self control. oh,and just for the sake of saying it: yes, you can lose weight by not eating a lot but as soon as you start eating again you will gain it ALL back(and quickly too).
you should be between 95 and 105, your 5 feet tall, if you weighed 77 you would look sick.. try diet and exercise, no more junk food, eat healthy..
OK, here’s the deal. I am 17, and when i was in 5th grade i weighed 220 lbs :/ i took up tennis in eighth grade and all my baby fat just disappeared. Now i am fit and strong. It’s just baby fat
don’t even worry about a thing, it will all come off eventually if you stay somewhat active. TRUST ME, my dad told me this and i was like :’( no it won’t i’ll never lose this weight! just trust me, it will all disappear eventually, there’s nothing to worry about. And BTW, right now, being 17, i am a muscular but fit kid and that scale says i’m 18 BMI even though i have a six pack. Those BMI scales are for the average framed person, and everyone is different. Just give it time and it’ll happen. just make sure you don’t eat tons of sweets, and stay active by doing things like swimming, cardio, dancing, etc.
good luck
first of all, you cannot lose that much weight that quickly. eat chicken, fish, shrimp, any seafood, vegetables and fruit. have your mom or dad cook them in an oven or stovetop with some chicken broth instead of butter or oil. stay away from sodas and drink juice instead. it will take a long time, like a few years, to lose that much weight but just keep eating healthy and it will be worth it.
Your BMI has almost everything to do with your height. I’ve studied nutrition and "healthy living" types of topics (such as anatomy and physiology, etc). I’ve seen more places say that 20 is the start of a healthy BMI. And you should probably be above that… If you are 5feet tall, even 100 pounds is a little low! maybe go down to 110 pounds.
You have to be strict about weight loss. You could plan out meals and help your mom make them, then you’d be ‘bonding’ and making healthy choices. Limit yourself to one tv show a day or less, and run around with/ play with your dog, ride a bike with a friend, etc.. Losing weight CAN be fun.
good luck. p.s. don’t think about it too much, ok?
Start slow: go running 5 times a week for 10 minutes. Then bring up the time to 15 or 20 minutes the next week. Also, if you have a lazy day, do strength training on commercials or whatever. When you’re still, muscle burns more calories than fat. Do small repetitions of push ups and sit ups.
Be careful not to overdo it; it’s really easy to take things too far.
Also, cut out greasy foods from your diet, at least temporarily. Try to stick to fruits and veggies vs. chips and salsa.
