I am a female who is 5′4 and 130 lbs. I go to the gym regularly and have a healthy lifestyle and eating habits. Due to the fact that I am short and have muscular parents I have big arms (bulky) and large calf’s and tights (bulky) though not fat. It just runs in my family… But I am really trying to figure out how to lose about 10-15lbs without bulking up. I regularly run and do elliptical and take some Pilate’s classes… but still I tend to bulk… I admit I could still do more working out but I do go regularly…
that being said I am on the medicine Accutane for acne and am in my 2nd month and loving the results. Obviously there are a lot of bad things going around about the medicine and that is why I am curious…
Would it be bad to mix the Acai Berry and possibly a Colon Cleanse system with the Accutane? I do not want to upset my body… but I do want to lose weight without bulking up like I tend to do. I am also curious if these products are natural like they say or if they have a lot of chemicals? For I don’t like to put to many chemicals and crazy things into my body.. I don’t even take Tylenol unless I am in dire pain.
I would be open to hear other suggestions but I am not looking to get into any extreme diet due to the fact that I already eat pretty healthy…
So overall I guess my question is How do I lose 10-15 lbs and slim down and NOT bulk up!
Thanks!

Whats the best way to rid adult acne?
I have been hearing that the best way is to detox your self from the insided out. Has anyone tried Colon Cleansing? And does it really work like some people say it does?

Like going to see a naturopathic doctor, doing a detox diet, getting colon cleansing, doing an elimination diet, etc.? What were the results? I am 29 and am still plagued by acne and NOTHING I’ve tried has helped, including all the over-the-counter acne cleansers. I need to try something else.

I’m a 30 year old female who has suffered from acne since I was 12. The acne the past 2 years has been entirely DIFFERENT, though. It is along my jawline and on my chin. Most definitely hormonal. Very emotionally draining. I would like suggestions to help the root of this problem (which is my hormonal imbalance). Please don’t say wash your face, change your diet, or stop touching your face. Those things are not causing my acne. It is the hormonal imbalance. I have done a colon cleanse, kidney/urinary cleanse, parasite cleanse, and two liver flushes. I am currently on no medications, but take a myriad of vitamins and herbs every day.
Thanks but I forgot to mention I do not wish to take any medications or birth control, internal or external. Only herbs or vitamins please

<<Got this message from facebook about acne>>
buy an COLON CLEANSER from the store like target or anything like that.
some kind of laxative
You should sh*t like within 30 minutes
find a co-op store or find something called FLAX SEED OIL
THE OIL MUST BE ORGANIC AND HOW YOU KNOW THAT it’s organic IS IF THE BOTTLE IS BLACK AND IT MUST BE IN A REFIGERATED AREA IF YOU DON’T SEE IT IN A REFIGERATED AREA OR IT’S NOT IN A BLACK CONTAINER DON’T BUY IT. after you buy it refigerate it at all times!!
THEN YOU WILL NEED SOME COTTAGE CHEESE. YOUR BODY CAN’T ABSORB THIS OIL BUY ITSELF SO WHEN YOU MIX IT WITH COTTAGE CHEESE IT IS ABSORABLE AND IT WORKS WONDERS. I HAD TO GET USE TO THE TASTE BUT YOU CAN ADD IT TO YOUR FAVORITE FOOD OR EAT IT WITH CHIPS CRACKERS WHATEVER WASHES THE TASTE AWAY. OR DRINK JUICE AFTER IT.
if you have really bad acne i recommend doing a three day fast with only liquids and eating soup for dinner. stock up on water, 100% juice, especially naked juice, and prune jui

MollyMac, I may have acne but I guarantee my body and internal organs are much healthier than yours. I will also live longer and less prone to disease. I would respectfully ask you not to believe everything the media, government, and doctors tell you is true. . .

I always feel so tired and run down. I also have some adult acne issues. I usually have one BM a day, but I feel like it should be more based on how much I eat. Anyone know of a good colon cleanser?

I am having issues with acne. My friend is also an herbalist and has been at it for 27 years. She got me some Yellow Dock and Dandelion Root tablets. She also has me taking Chaste Tree Berry drops (2-3 per day) and I am using an oatmeal scrub on my face. I have been doing this about a week. Nothing new, am I just being impatient? How long does a blood cleanse take? I thought I'd be clean by now, geesh, I've done 2 candida cleanses, 2 colon cleanses, a liver cleanse, and a kidney cleanse- all in the past 8 months. I eat healthy MOST of the time (organic foods, good choices), excercise very regularly, and drink my water.
My friend was highly concerned that my problem may be hormonal. I used to have some reign over the acne when I was on birth control pills. Then I learned how BAD the pills were for me, so I stopped. Now my blemishes are back! I get it along my jawline, on my chest, and up the length of my back. Does this sound hormonal to you? Androgen imbalance?
Any help
Thanks
Opus> You aren't widowmaker, so you aren't an herbalist. HE will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say birth control pills are "bad for me". Prescription drugs are horrible for the body, and yes I prefer herbal remedies! Most all of the ones I've tried have worked, I'm just stuggling with finding the right one for acne. I'd rather be drug-free and have healthy internal female organs than be on birth control pills for something like acne. Guess what? I think you're rude. Your choice, your problem.

Uho. I'm starting to gain weight all over, every year I've gotten more flabbier. I'm 124 lbs and I'm thirteen. All of my friends are like 100 lbs! (But they are sticks, anyways.) I want to be a model, but I have a few issues with my hudge thighs, I really mean it. I'm not some obsessed little teen girl who wants to be perfect, I want to be healthly. But I do want to be thinner, quite a bit thinner (not bones! or close to bones!) Don't get the wrong idea. I want to firm up, get a butt, have a waist, no more thick hips. (Whenever I put on a top my hips are all bulgy :p) and I want to be able to have thin thighs! How should I do this? My mom is doing a cleanse, and ordered me a colon cleanse to help with acne and to clear my system. I eat healthy, but excercise? What should I do to achieve my goals. I want to weigh around 113-115 lbs. That is how much my mom weighed at my age. What are good excercies to buld long, lean, flat muscles not hudge ones??? HELP! Thank you so much! God bless!

I'm a 17 year old male with mild acne and some red marks. In high school my condition made it very difficult to meet girls due to my self confidence and my appearence. I would really like to make a change in this so I can pick up the pace and have women be more receptive to me and finally lose my virginity. This might seem a little selfish, but I'm being perfectly honest with my desires. I have tried literally everything for my condition (antibiotics, topicals, vitamins/supplements, liver flush, colon cleansing, you name it)_and it seems that accutane is my last resort. I am considering this mainly for the reason that it's very awkward to explain why I haven't had a girlfriend yet and I'd really like to function like a normal person in society for once in my life. Can anyone offer me any advice?

I have had severe acne for almost 8yrs, nothing has ever worked and I'm tired of trying new creams. I want to try a colon cleanse because I hear it can help clear out your colon and get rid of acne-causing toxins in your intestines, but I am really scared to try it on my own because large amount of fecal matter are gonna come out and what if something goes wrong?

When I was younger I use to hold in my bowel movements. I'm in my 30s now and I can't seem to get things going again. I have tried almost everything, Health Force cleanses, herbal laxative, eating healthy, probiotics, magnesium, enemas, you name it. Recently I have been mixing homemade yogurt with a T. Psyllium for the last three weeks. I have been getting some movement but I have so much gas I think I'm going to explode! It has gotten to the point where nothing really responds and it seems I have no control over pushing anything out like the colon is numb inside. Also, because of all of this I am experiencing the gas not coming from rectum it comes directly out of pours. 15-20 minutes after I feel gas in my lower left abdomen I can smell a STRONG odor of eggs coming from me for days at a time. When I was somewhat gassy or constipated when I was younger I never had gas come out of my pours like this. Any explanation for this? I had blood tests done recently and everything looked ok except for high carnitine levels and raised cholesterol. I have had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done as well. I am not sure if it is related but I also have severe gout symptoms in my feet and ankles on a weekly basis. The Dr. said to take IB Profen and no high purine foods which I don't consume. I also get acne/boils that sometimes smell like rotten eggs all over my back and chest. Does anybody have any ideas? I haven't got much help by going to the doctor. Thanks!
I quit drinking a couple years ago and I definitely know alcohol doesn't help the problem. lol
I gotta say though, I think I had better bowel movements even when I was drinking.
Yogurt and high fiber seems to be giving me some relief. I don't recall mentioning my "cure" with using yogurt and fiber. More of a process of conditioning my digestive track. I'm thinking dysbiosis and possible yeast overgrowth causing the problem. That might explain the acne/boils on chest. (yeast?) I think the gas is from introducing fiber to my diet and possibly the bacteria going to work. I have been to a GI dr. and since tests came back negative for major problems he said just keep yourself regular with Myralax, which didn't work at all. Not much help. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has had similar symptoms and have had success with treating it. Like I said it seems that my system is not responding to most laxatives. A couple weeks ago I tried Epsom salt and it didn't respond at all. When I use to use it a year ago it created diarrhea. It almost seems impossible to create diarrhea if I had to. My goal for now is just to get my system going.

I am doing a detox diet that consists of limiting some foods, lemon water, detoxifying tea once daily and a colon detox pill each day. How long should I do this diet?
This is my first time to do a detox diet and I have been doing it for three days so far. I'm used to eating pretty healthy and organic, so my only side effects have been a little bit of an acne outbreak and my breath is a little more foul in the mornings than it usually is.
Also, what should I do after I have cleansed the colon? Is it okay to start doing the detox baths at that point or should I take a rest?

So, I heard from quite a few sources that drinking warm water with a little bit of freshly-squeezed lemon juice (would lemon juice out of a bottle do the same thing?) in the mornings does quite a few things, including:
reduces acne/makes the skin glow
reduces chances of heart disease
'energizes' you
reduces body odor
does a great job in cleansing your digestive system
produces some sort of acid that is essential to your body
strengthens hair
..and several other things.
But I did a quick search and found a few sources that said it's bad for your teeth, bad for your joints, and/or helps you lose weight.
I need to know whether the teeth and joint thing in particular are true (preferably from someone who's used this or knows someone who has?) because.. well, I like my teeth, and can't afford to have painful joints, else it'll affect my running and dancing.

While I'm at it, does anyone know any really good home remedy sites?

I'm beginning a two month Colon/ Parasite and Toxic Cleanse tomorrow (Coloinix and ToxinOut sold Dr.Natura). Followed by a Liver Flush (recipe by : Hulda Regehr Clark, Ph.D., N.D. found in her book "The Cure for all Diseases" Copyright 1995) which I will repeat 10 to fifteen times in two week intervels. I want to know if any of you (especially girls/ woman) have completed these cleanses and have had results. There's no doubt in me that I will see results, because of the information I have come across especially related to the liver flush and it's relation to hormonal acne and other problems. I encourage all who are suffering from acne, especially around the jawline to look into this. I would love responses reguarding these subjects as well…

In health store person said that acne starts from buidl up of toxins in digestive system. told me to take a colon cleanser and it will cure it.
I know you have to take probiotics also, when would u take those?

Doesn't your body cleanse itself of environmental toxins (pesticides, food additives, excess minerals and vitamins) itself? Is a store-bought cleanse—colon, kidney, liver, lungs, vascular, bowel, etc. cleanse—-really necessary?
Advocates of these type(s) of cleanses claim that excess toxins in the body cause weight gain, skin problems such as acne, depression, memory loss, and all sorts of other ailments.
Can someone with knowledge and experience (only people with true insight please–no uninformed responders) please help me find an answer to this?

Ok so i did a acne free in 3 days. It worked wonders for me, My face looks clear now and i barely have acne breakouts. Only those small pimples that u can barely see. My cystic acne is gone to. Nothing ever worked for me then doing the apple fast for 3 days. I suffered with severe acne for couple years already. I found this ebook i got it for free and i did everything that the guy sayed on it. Eating apples on for 3 days, drinking sh*t loads of water and doing enemas. So yeah my skin looks really good. Even scars faded after i did the clease. So i finally understand why i was getting acne for all of those years, its because of the toxins. For years i was putting that benzoyl peroxide crap on my face witch helped but still acne was just appearing and appearing everyday. I even changed my diet. That only helped little bit but when i finally did the apple fast my acne improved 95 percent. I barely get any breakouts. I still want to get rid of those toxins in my body again. I did the apple fast and allot of toxins came out from my body. Is there any good cheap colon cleanse products to clean out the toxins. I don’t want to do the apple fast again because i am a body builder and i dont want to lose muscles and plus i cant stand apples anymore cuz i had to eat sh*t loads of them for 3 days but it was worth it and the other thing it says he cured his acne in 3 days, it didn’t cure my acne in 3 days but it improved it by 95 percent. I still get little acne because i think i didn’t remove all the toxins. So is there any other ways that u can remove toxins from the body.

I read that is I detoxificate my my body acne will clear right up and others things can benifit as well. So do I do this?
Detoxification is a normal body process of eliminating or neutralizing toxins through the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph and skin. Fasting is the world's most ancient and natural healing mechanism. Fasting triggers a truly wondrous cleansing process that reaches right down to each and every cell and tissue in the body.

I work night shift at a hospital and every night, when it gets slow on the hall, I have tv on my computer. This sick looking guy with acne scars is always on tv info-commercials selling a colon cleanse. He also lies about the info he gives. Ex. ( John Wayne had so many pounds of fecal matter when autopsied… Hey dude, John Wayne died of cancer and never had an autopsy) Yeah, some people, like Elvis, have Megacolons…this comes from constipation after medications..pain killers especially.. There is no way that the human body can hold as much crap as he is trying to lie about.
Yes, people can benefit from mild laxatives every now and then, but this guy and others that are selling this crap, are liars.
Have any of you ever bought this crap?

I have a lot of acne, blackheads, pores etc on my face. I read up a lot of articles and they all suggested a colon cleanse through fasting. I've been on a juice fast since yesterday, drinking 10 glasses of water and only pineapple and carrot juice the whole day. I haven't had a bowel movemnet though and I'm thinking of trying psyllium husk, will it help? How long should I continue this fast and will any other easily available products help? Also, right now my acne is just the same, no improvemnet, how soon should i expect results?
