Colon cleansing question?

Hello i need some advice

My father is in his late 50′s and he is really really constipated. He went to doctor and was given some pill’s which did not help.
Hes Been very interested in Purchasing some "colon cleansing" Tablets from several tv ads but i am pretty sure they are/might be a scam (i say this cause last time he purchased a product from a tv and he got his identity stolen).

Here is my question
Are there any over there counter powders, strong herbal teas, enzymes, anti parasite capsules or liquid supplements that are any good for cleaning the colon?
(preferably not online stores)

I would greatly appreciate it! =)

I've been told that my body is extremely deficient of nutrients and enzymes and because of this my cells, digestive organs and several other vital organs have to "rob" my non-vital systems of their nutrients in order to keep going. Internally my body is wearing down like that of an 87 year old (I'm 29). I'm now on some supplements and a multi-vitamin to help become healthier, but I feel that I need to make diet changes as well. What foods have the highest amount of overall nutrients and enzymes? Also, are there any foods that help to detoxify the body of unwanted bacteria, etc.?

My doctor gave me antibiotics because i have stomach parasites. I’m done with the antibiotics for two weeks and i am taking some enzymes to support my digestive system right now. I will be on surgery this coming September 23 for my ovarian cyst. I don’t know if the parasite is still active in my body. I will call the hospital to schedule me for another laboratory so they can check my stool again. My concern is I’m afraid that the parasites multiply in my body and i cannot do cleansing right now because I’m due for operation. I don’t know what to do. Should i postpone my operation and first kill parasite on my stomach or should i push through the operation and then after operation work on killling the parasites again. But im afraid this will multiply and damage my organ. Please someone help me. Thank you…
