As much as I would love to be able to exercise it is difficult for me. I am a caregiver for my husbands grandmother and it is a 24/7 job. Difficult to get any me time for exercising. I also have a condition called Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) which has caused me to gain this excessive weight. Just wondering if a colon cleanse would help jump start some weight loss. Along with using a slim quick pill. How else can I lose weight. It is driving me crazy having all this excess weight when I’ve never been above 130 until 2007 when I developed PCOS.
PLEASE HELP!
Also no rude comments like get off your lazy butt. I work very very hard, and in no way am I lazy.

I am on day 7 of the internal colon cleanse; two capsules in the morning & two capsules in the evening. Yesterday I began to feel gas pain & bloating and was nauseated to my stomach and found myself running to the bathroom several times during the course of the day & these symptoms have continued over-night and into today. Is this a normal effect of these cleansers? Is that just the cleanser doing its job? I should add that the first 5 days of taking the celanser I had a very bad cold & felt extemely fatigued. While I was sick, I didn’t have much of an appitite or much bowel movement until the cold subsided.

You know, the one form Oprah and Dr. Oz, and where ever else its shown up at. I want to know a few things;
1. Does it actually work?
2. I never actually read the articles, but I caught wind that it is bad for long term use. True or false?
3. Is it okay to use to jump start a diet? I read, I believe it was a News 6 article, of a woman who lost 25 pounds in 4 weeks. If it can do that, then that’s just the motivation I need. After the 25 pounds, I’ll be off it and on to the normal healthy stuff like I want.
4. Where can I find it without ordering it online? Come on, I’m 18, I’m at my last year in high school, I still live with my parents (who are a few of the last people I want to know what I’m trying to do) and I don’t exactly have a bank account or whatever. BUT I do have a job, lol. So, would the products be easy to find in a store? Like, there’s one in the mall full of weird health supplements and stuff. Maybe?
5. What exactly is the RIGHT products for this? I’ve heard of ColoClean, Colon Cleanse, Acai Fit, Acai… something I can’t remember. What EXACTLY is the right products for this new hype?
Mind you, if it is actually unhealthy for long term uses, I just need the 25 in 4 and I’m calling it quits for sure. Even if it was okay for long term use, I’d still call it quits. So, no speeches and lectures are nessecary. Pleeeease ^-^

My mom talked me into doing this Colon Cleanse with her. You just take a pill packed with Herbs & Fibers….& it does it’s job. Well, I’ve been taking it for 3 days. Today I got cramps & tonight I noticed blood in my stool. & I’m not talking about strings of blood…..a lot of blood. For those of you that HAVE done a cleanse……
Have you experienced anything like this?
Is it normal to experience this during a cleanse?
We are mostly adults here right?!?! So, I would appreciate only mature answers!
I don’t have a recommending Dr. We just kind of did this on our own. & I haven’t done any other cleanses previous to this one.

My aunt is from Belize and she would do this home remedy that was incredible. She would boil down a Seena leaf into a tea. Once you drink this, OMG it was one heck of of a colon cleanser, it hit in about a 1/2 hour ut it also didn’t cramp you and did its cleansing job. The diffrence with the Seena leaf then other natural laxatives was the next day you would have the energy of ten maybe twenty men. Only problem is I have lost contact with my aunt. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I read that an unhealthy overworked colon that does it’s job less efficiently can result in unprocessed toxins that end up reaching the joints and that building up and creating sore joint pain
- so secondly would anyone know of any effective colon cleansing supplements – Thank You very much for any help!

It’s always good to look at research done on both sides of the issue, so for anyone that’s done that, Thank you.

Say you had a symptom of colon cancer maybe 4 years ago, but then 4 years later you feel fine, energetic and still feel good and healthy even after hard days labor, have a good appetite, no nausea or fatigue, etc and still have the same normal weight is it a good chance that you dont really have the cancer? Or would the symptoms actually get worse if you really had the cancer? Reason i ask is because 4 years ago i saw blood in my stool ( which i did go to the doctor and it turns out i have a pilondial cyst which bleeds periodically) I was 18 at the time and now im 22, and even tho i went to the doctor I was still so scared about this, he assured me i was fine, but since im pessimistic it still has been in the back of my mind for the past 4 years that I think about it all the time. Since then iv become obsessed witht he consistancy and frequency of bowel movements etc, and have also become more anxious and nervous ever since. Physically i have no other symptoms and I havent really had anything else aside from occasional gas, etc but nothing persistant. I did a colon cleansing and that seemed to work and increased my bowel frequency. Lately though iv been very nervous and my bowel movements though normal, feel like htey are smaller than usual when i go. Is this cause of my nervousness? Iv been to the doctor and he says its just in my head because i think about it all the time, but i still say that ever since i seen the blood in my stool, even though the pilondial cyst was doing it, I still get worried. Physically i feel fine. I work a physically gruelling job 40 hours a week, sometimes 9 hours a day and i have alot of energy, I eat alot, and my weight has been the same since i can remember, the only thing is that I get extremely anxious and nervous and i still cant seem to stop worrying. I figure that if i really would have had a cancer for this long i might feel sicker , but im still not assure, nothing ever puts me to ease, not even a doctors word.

I’ve lost a bunch of weight, but have really been stuck for a while with what I would guess to be around 10 pounds of fat. I really can’t diet and exercise much more than i am right now, and I’ve been thinking that maybe a colon cleanse will do the job. How do these cleanses actually make you lose weight? Do these cleanses help to burn fat, or is the weight that you lose just junk trapped in your body. What I’m asking is whether I’ll lose pounds of fat, or just weight. Thanks.

Don’t answer this question, if you are going to tell me not to do it or anything else that doesn’t involve a direct answer to the question. The oc colon cleansers range from -, can I just use fleet oral solution? I have a strong medical history of colon problems, as well as a family history. My GP and a surgeon that removed part of my colon a couple of years ago suggested it, but I never have tried it. What about taking large amounts of bulk fiber and water? Please if you have genuine knowledge of this question, I would appreciate your answers.
I’ve lost my job and health insurance, that is the reason I am asking this here, instead of my gastroenterologist’s office.

I feel the need of cleansing my colon. Reason: Chronic constipation, indigestion since last few months, obesity, heavy-feeling on waist-stomach part, slight pain in part above bowel-passing area which makes me feel as if my colon is not okay and may require some cleansing.
I exercise occassionally. I m generally a stressed out person with something piling on my personality – emotional stress or physical or job stress.
While browing thru net, I have come accross a product known as COLONIX. Pls refer to website below.
http://www.drnatura.com/colonix_program.php
I need to know if this product can be safe to us.
Or, pls suggest me some "Natural way of cleansing colon" without having to take some medication.
I want to be healthy but in a natural way. I eat lot of fruits, green veggies and normal meals. I am fond of drinking milk-tea and put two-three spoons in it each time (I drink upto 4 cups daily). I like to eat McDonalds and some junk food like chips/chocolates/cookies/cakes. But I m not addicted to these and eat these 2-3 times in a week.
But I want to know if anyone of you have ever gone thru colon cleansing and felt better. Or if you have not gone thru colon cleansing and still feel better.
All answers are welcome!
Thanks for reading and answering my query!

It's a cleansing kit consisting of not only a colon cleanse, but also a liver, lymphatic, circulatory, and kidney cleanse… I have a guaranteed job at a movie rental place waiting for me, all I have to do is turn my application into the manager who I got in good with … but that means I have to stop smoking marijuana (also I want to) but I also want a "farewell" smoke tonight lol … so keeping in mind that I'm into fitness, I exercize regularly, will the body cleansing kit help?

ok, has anyone out there had any experience with colon cleansing or the products that claim to do wonders? I have a group of friends that are using some form of tea that is supposed to do the job. And when I check for products on-line, there are many out there. Some even claiming to expel what looks like monsters from your body. It sounds almost too good to be true (all the benefits). So, if anyone has any stories to share about products and results, that would be great.

I can't find a straight answer for this. I have read sites that don't exactly say to use an enema for colon cleansing, like the master cleanse, it just requires the drinking of saline wash, and other forumes say that you should do an enema at least once a day for the first few days of fasting. I don't know if I even want to perform this, plus I don't money to buy all this crap that the sites say to buy because I have no job and I am a little embarased trying to ask one of my parents to purchase the needed equipment to perform an enema. Who can answer this question? Do I need to perform an enema during a juice fast?

So, I heard from quite a few sources that drinking warm water with a little bit of freshly-squeezed lemon juice (would lemon juice out of a bottle do the same thing?) in the mornings does quite a few things, including:
reduces acne/makes the skin glow
reduces chances of heart disease
'energizes' you
reduces body odor
does a great job in cleansing your digestive system
produces some sort of acid that is essential to your body
strengthens hair
..and several other things.
But I did a quick search and found a few sources that said it's bad for your teeth, bad for your joints, and/or helps you lose weight.
I need to know whether the teeth and joint thing in particular are true (preferably from someone who's used this or knows someone who has?) because.. well, I like my teeth, and can't afford to have painful joints, else it'll affect my running and dancing.

While I'm at it, does anyone know any really good home remedy sites?

I received a WalMart gift card, a Victoria's Secret gift card, a Home Depot gift card, a free Acai berry colon cleanse, a Rachel Ray gift package, and a Best Buy gift card. I have also received several job offers for laundering checks for a British artist selling art in the U.S., and I have 500 million dollars waiting for me in a Nigerian bank account because my long-lost uncle was killed in a plane crash. As soon as I receive all this loot, I would like to take you all out for drinks.

Apparently I can lose as much as six pounds in one week just by cleansing my colon. And it must be an issue, because there is no shortage of people out there who are more than willing to help me. I guess maybe all those toxins are worth something to someone. Is it worth quitting my good aerospace job to pursue a career cleansing colons?
You guys are killing me! This is hysterical!
