whats the best home colon cleanse?

i hear warm water with lemon first thing in the morning on an empty stomach will clean me out. true??
if not what will?
im on vacation right now so time is not an issue.

All of these ingredients are available at health food stores, and the juice at the grocery store. Total cost about $25, and works better than those Colon Cleanser rip-offs with little pills. Do it for about a week.
Before Bed on an empty stomach
1 ounce of orange juice (including pulp)
2 super mega heaping teaspoons Arrowroot powder
1 super mega heaping teaspoon Vitamin C Crystals Powder (ascorbic acid)
Stir ingredients in glass. The consistency should be fairly thick. If it is too thick to drink, add a tiny bit more liquid. Drink mixture. Take one sip of water to swish and swallow to clear esophagus. Brush teeth. Do not drink any additional liquid all night even if you are really thirsty. (Drink all the liquid you need up to 30 minutes BEFORE taking this mixture.) Try to take this mixture before midnight.
In the morning: Do 10 situps and abdominal Massage (see below)
About 10 oz. Concord grape juice
1 super mega heaping teaspoon of psyllium HUSK powder
1/2 teaspoon of vitamin C crystals
1/2 teaspoon bone meal powder
Shake mixture and drink immediately. Drink at least another 24 ounces of water within the next 20 minutes. Wait at least 30 minutes after your last drink of water before eating breakfast.
Before Breakfast: Stretching and walk
Abdominal Massage.
For 1 minute 2x/day: in a circular motion, up on right and down on left, simulating the natural movement of the bowels. You can do this sitting, standing or lying down.
For 1 minute 2x/day: Start by placing fingers in belly button area and press into abdomen and rotate in small circles. Don’t press too hard, but you can feel where the “hard” areas are and those are the areas that can use a little massage.
I think anything would be healthy,just start eating healthy drinking healthy no sodas you know the basics but if you want the cleanse faster,just got to your local store,or you can even google it if you rather not take pills.
I know that eating prunes or drinking plenty of applejuice always works for me!
The absolute best thing to keep your colon healthy and functioning correctly is a decent well balanced diet- heavy on the whole grains, fruits and veggies- and light on the red meat and refined flour products. Your colon cleans itself, and it doesn’t need or appreciate your help. Inside your colon there are millions of necessary bacteria that not only help your digestion, but are critical to the absorption of necessary nutrients. Giving yourself diarrhea will upset that balance, and add wear and tear to the delicate tissues that you nor it needs. You do not have pockets of toxins hanging out in your colon, unless you have diverticulitis. In that case, diarrhea is really not what you need either. Honestly, all the colon needs is a diet of decent food, and it’s well designed to take care of everything else. Eat some granola, some oatmeal, drink plenty of water, and have a nice big salad. That will be a lot better for you in the long run, and your colon will be grateful.
